The Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) Baxter Clinic shares the building with the Minneapolis Heart Institute (MHI), continuing a long-standing collaborative relationship.
CRMC Baxter provides Family Medicine, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine care for patients of all ages with specialty care to OB/GYN, orthopaedic, and podiatry patients. The clinic includes laboratory and radiology services, in addition to offering patients access to care through CRMC partnerships with MHI and Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology.
Laboratory Services
Baxter Clinic's laboratory is available during regular clinic hours. Staff can perform multiple types of on-site testing including Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Respiratory. Other testing can be provided with specimens sent to CRMC's Crosby Laboratory location to be processed the same day.
An appointment must be made for lab services by calling 218-454-7600 to ensure that the laboratory team can be prepared with the proper equipment and orders.
The Minneapolis Heart Institute® was established to help prevent and combat the universal problem of heart disease. The Baxter location is a full-service cardiology clinic staffed by six cardiology providers who offer a full range of outpatient cardiovascular services and testing. The Baxter heart clinic is part of the Minneapolis Heart Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health.
